"shamyAM prAsya tatra shAlAM kR^itvA yatra yajnaH kriyate sa shamyApAsaH"
shamyAM = sarasvatyAH = of the river Saraswati
prA = prAsya = pashchime tiRe = on the western bank
A = well placed = making it a shAla or yajnashAla = making a good place for performing of
sa = satra = yajna = yAga, yajna, homa, etc (sacrificial ceremonies).
A sacred place on the western bank of the river Saraswati, where the yajnAs / homas are performed.
